Our director, Eugeni Figa, represented Club Nàutic Estartit at one of the most important nautical fairs in the world: Boot Düsseldorf 2025. The event, which was held from 18 to 26 January, was an exceptional opportunity to promote Catalan sailing and share experiences with other professionals in the sector.
Attendance at the stand of Ports de Catalunya – ACPET
Club Nàutic Estartit was present at the stand of the Catalan Association of Marinas and Tourist Ports (ACPET), along with other Catalan port managers and the new Director of Ports of the Catalan Government, Esther Roca. This participation has helped to strengthen the image of Catalan ports on an international scale and to highlight initiatives such as ‘Marina Day’, ‘Sailing has a prize, dock for free’ and ‘Sailing Costa Brava’.
Boot Düsseldorf is an ideal platform for promoting the nautical and tourism offer of the Costa Brava and the entire Catalan coastline, allowing visitors to discover the port facilities, services and activities available.

A benchmark event for the nautical industry
This 2025, Boot Düsseldorf has brought together more than 1,500 exhibitors from all over the world, consolidating its position as a key event for the nautical industry. Despite a 9.7% drop in visitor numbers compared to the previous year, the fair has maintained its central role as a barometer of the sector, surpassing in impact events such as the Miami Boat Show or the Cannes Film Festival.
Among the main trends observed, there was an increase in interest in small boats, as well as a strong demand for diving and wind sports equipment. In addition, sustainability was one of the main themes of the event, with initiatives such as the ‘Blue Innovation Dock’ and the ‘Love Your Ocean’ campaign, which promote actions to protect the oceans.

The future of the nautical sector
Despite the current economic difficulties, Boot Düsseldorf remains an indispensable meeting place for the industry. The consolidation of large industrial groups, such as the Bénéteau Group and Brunswick, marks a trend towards diversification and innovation in the boat market.
Club Nàutic Estartit welcomes our participation in this fair and will continue to work to position our organisation and the Costa Brava as a benchmark in the world of sport and recreational boating.
