In response to the digitalization strategy in the operations area, we are pleased to announce the recent acquisition of the ROV Fifish V-EVO. This device becomes an innovative solution that will significantly improve our operational capabilities and will allow us to meet today’s challenges more effectively.
The continuous challenge of our workers for the daily and quality maintenance of the port
Our maritime team works daily to maintain the facilities in optimal condition. Early detection and repair of structural damage is essential to avoid additional costs and ensure the safety of port users.
The dives that must be carried out by external and certified professional teams are costly, and the need for more frequent inspections to detect potential damage has placed even more pressure on our team. Additionally, technological limitations have meant that many of these inspections are not as detailed as we would like.
The acquisition of the Fifish V-EVO to ensure optimal maintenance
The Fifish V-EVO underwater drone represents an efficient response to these needs. This remotely operated vehicle (ROV) is designed to submerge in port areas and is equipped with a high-resolution camera that allows detailed inspections of the seabed and underwater infrastructure without the need for human dives.

The Fifish V-EVO is equipped with advanced sensors that allow precise distance measurements, ensuring that operations can be carried out safely even in the most difficult conditions. It also features ultra-bright 500-lumen, 5500K lights that optimize vision in the depths of the sea, even in dark and murky environments, and a 166º lens that provides a much wider view of the underwater world.
Additionally, it allows for long and efficient dives and is extremely versatile, being compatible with a wide range of additional accessories and tools, such as manipulation and sampling tools, as well as advanced positioning systems.

With the Fifish V-EVO, we can perform tasks ranging from visual and structural inspections of docks and other submerged infrastructures to detect corrosion, damage, or sediment buildup; monitoring the condition of mooring chains; and locating and recovering lost or fallen objects in the water…
