The Club Nàutic Estartit has welcomed the new year with one of the most awaited gastronomic traditions: The Garoinada. This year, and due to the high demand, this celebration has taken place in two days, on the 18th and 25th of January, offering the attendees an unbeatable culinary experience.

A seafaring festival for more than 140 people
This year’s Garoinada had more than 140 participants, making it an essential event for lovers of good food and seafaring culture. In a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, members, friends and sea lovers enjoyed an exquisite menu with the garoina as the undisputed protagonist.
Accompanied by poultry and vegetable consommé, bread and iberic ham, ceviche, monkfish with vegetables and local wine, the garoines were the star dish, evoking the fishing tradition of the Costa Brava and its authentic cuisine. The experience went beyond the palate, as the attendees were able to enjoy the sea, the company and the passion for good food in an unbeatable setting.

A tradition that remains alive
The Garoinada is not just a meal; it is a celebration that brings together tradition and gastronomy, an event that year after year gathers people who share a love for the sea and local products. This success reaffirms the commitment of Club Nàutic Estartit to promoting maritime culture and organizing events that strengthen the bond between its members and the community.
