Last weekend, 16th and 17th November, the CN Estartit organised the Trofeu Illes Medes, a level 2 regatta for the Europa and 420 classes.
A total of 39 boats from different clubs in Catalonia competed in the competition. On Saturday, the garbí wind, with an intensity of between 12 and 18 knots, made it possible to complete 4 races for the 420 class and 3 races for the Europa class. On Sunday, after a two-hour wait, a light xaloc wind of between 5 and 6 knots made it possible to complete 2 more races for all classes.
The awards ceremony was attended by Mr. Eduard Sallés, representing the Catalan Sailing Federation, and Mr. Jordi Ponjoan, president of the CN Estartit.
After a total of 5 races for the Europa class and 6 races for the 420 class, the final classifications were as follows:
